I've been so delighted to discover second hand sari silk scraps and incorporate them into nuno mosaic panels...here are the twoI've made most recently since the first one I made at Nicola Brown's workshop in Plainwell, MI in May... I am having a lovely time adding many other wonderful "bits and pieces" to the sari silk pieces that I am designing and making into altar cloths/wall hangings/table runners for a show/sale here in Seattle later in the year. These are a bit like story cloths and memory quilts in that I am including additional fabrics and embellishments that belonged to people I know.
