Video Views-#2!

So, here I am -two days in a row..This one is a video (under 3 minutes) made for the Soulumination Artists' Sale here in Seattle in December 2011. It shows many of the "Second Stories"-- hand felted art pieces created from  wonderful recycled saris, some of the process and some of the sari scraps before they are felted in with wool and other fibers to make new pieces. This and the other video I posted yesterday are also on my Facebook page Flowering Fibers
videoThanks for having a look. Soulumination (http:Soulumination.org) is a
fine Seattle-based non-profit that serves families with terminally children or parents by creating a photographic essay of their time together. I'll be in the next holiday sale Dec. 2012 and also offer some of the pieces on my website: FloweringFibers for purchase. 25% goes to the organization, as it does during the sale.

  1. Nuno felt is such a wonderful process to make scraps into a beautiful artpiece. The textures are GREAT. You've a kind heart to help the less fortunates with your pretty designs. Wish all goes well in the next sales.
